Kuching, 16–17 April 2025 – i-CATS University College, in collaboration with the National Aerospace Industry Corporation Malaysia (NAICO), successfully hosted the Sarawak Aerospace Transformation Forum 2025 at Raia Hotel & Convention Centre.

This two-day forum brought together leading experts and stakeholders from academia, government, and industry to chart Sarawak’s role in the global aerospace and New Space economy. Themed “Driving New Space and Aerospace Innovation Through Collaboration,” the forum aimed to strengthen partnerships, align talent development with digital transformation, and drive innovation across key sectors including aerospace engineering, satellite technology, and systems integration.

Key sessions included panel discussions on industry collaboration, workforce development, technology, and policy frameworks, with insights shared by top leaders from NAICO, MYSA, SDEC, Weststar Aviation, and more.

The forum marks a pivotal step in advancing Sarawak’s aspirations under PCDS 2030 and the Digital Economy Blueprint, positioning the state as a regional hub for high-tech, sustainable growth in aerospace innovation.
