Introduction

The Master in Business Administration programme at the i-CATS University College aims to prepare graduates for a wide range of positions in the public and private sectors. During the programme, students will acquire industry-relevant knowledge and skills. 

Graduates are also expected to undertake lifelong learning and adapt to the changing environment to fulfil the demands of the industry.

 

Objective

The objective of our Diploma in Accounting (DIA) is to develop technical skills and fundamental knowledge to enable graduates to work professionally in the industry and commerce, both in the public and private sectors.

Entry Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Level 6, MQF) related and other fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 or equivalent, as accepted by the HEP Senate: or
  • A Bachelor’s degree in the Business Administration(Level 6, MQF) , related and other fields or equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and not meeting CGPA 2.50, may be accepted with written and oral exam (rigorous internal assessment); or 
  • A Bachelor’s degree in the  Business Administration (Level 6, MQF) , related and other fields or equivalent with minimum CGPA 2.00 and not meeting CGPA 2.50, may be accepted with a minimum of 5 years working experience in business or industry and with written and oral exam (rigorous internal assessment). 
  • A Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) in non-related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 as accepted by the HEP Senate and without relevant working experience, subject to passing pre-requisite courses OR
  • Other equivalent/related qualifications to a Bachelor’s degree recognised by the Malaysian Government.
  • For international students, a minimum IELTS Score of 6.0 or its equivalent (eg. TOEFL iBT: 60, Pearson Test of English: 59, Cambridge English Qualification and Tests: 169 or MUET Band 4) is required.

The academic curriculum of the MBA programme is designed to equip students with knowledge and skills in business administration. The Total Credits to Graduate for this programme is 40 credits for a duration of one year and the courses include the followings.
