25 February 2025 – i-CATS University College is proud to announce a successful official visit aimed at strengthening cultural and academic ties. The delegation, led by Associate Professor Dr Muhamad Sophian Nazaruddin, Dean of the Faculty of Multidisciplinary and Sustainability Studies, accompanied by Mr Abang Mohd Heikal bin Abg Othman, Deputy Director of Community Engagement Department, met with Dr Ömer Altun, Director of the Yunus Emre Institute Turkish Cultural Centre at Kuala Lumpur.

Discussions during the visit resulted in a mutual understanding to support i-CATS UC in introducing Turkish Language programs and promoting Turkish culture in Sarawak in the near future.
