On 4th of March 2025, i-CATS University College (i-CATS UC) recently visited the Department of Aerospace Engineering, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) to discuss opportunities for collaboration in aerospace education, research, and industry engagement.
Led by Professor Ir. Dr. Shuhaimi Bin Mansor, the i-CATS UC delegation was warmly welcomed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dayang Laila Abg Haji Abdul Majid. The discussions covered several key topics, including BTech programme documentation, the QubeSAT competition, the High Altitude Balloon competition, the Southeast Asia Workshop on Aerospace Engineering (SAWAE), AEROS membership and programs, and potential research collaborations.
The visit marks an important step in strengthening academic and industry partnerships in the aerospace field. i-CATS UC expresses its appreciation to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dayang Laila and the UPM Aerospace team for their warm hospitality and insightful discussions. The university looks forward to future collaborations that will drive innovation, research, and student development in aerospace technology.
