On 5th of March 2025, i-CATS University College (i-CATS UC) recently embarked on two strategic visits to Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) and Collaborative Research in Engineering, Science & Technology (CREST) to enhance research and innovation efforts in technical advancements, satellite technology, and R&D.
At USM, the delegation, led by Professor Ir. Dr. Shuhaimi bin Mansor, Dean of Aerospace Engineering, gained valuable insights into cutting-edge aerospace technology and satellite facilities, strengthening i-CATS UC’s technical expertise in these fields.
Meanwhile, at CREST, Professor Dr. Hushairi Zen, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering & Technology, spearheaded discussions on industry-driven research and innovation, paving the way for potential collaborations in high-impact R&D projects.
These visits mark a significant step toward expanding academic-industry partnerships and fostering technological advancements. i-CATS UC expresses its sincere appreciation to USM and CREST for their warm hospitality and knowledge-sharing sessions, which will contribute to future innovation and academic excellence.
