In the early childhood education sector, the role of educators is not only to provide basic knowledge and education but also to ensure the well-being and safety of the children under their care.
Therefore, at i-CATS UC, the subject DECE 1104: Safety, Health and Nutrition for Early Childhood Education is taught to students so that they can become knowledgeable and skilled educators in ensuring children’s health and well-being.
The Faculty of Education has conducted a First Aid and CPR Handling Workshop for all diploma and degree students in Early Childhood Care and Education. The workshop was held at Lecture Theater 1, i-CATS UC, and led by JPAM instructors: LT (PA) Mohd. Zaidi bin Mohd. Ali & Sjn. (PA) Zulhilmi bin Sani.
