Nor Fasihah Rusli, and Mr. Nicholas Kamarau Anak Johnny, and Mdm. Dahlia Bujang from Faculty of Multidisciplinary and Sustainability Studies(FMSS) is organising an early literacy and numeracy program for children in Baleh, Kapit, in collaboration with Sarawak Energy Berhad (SEB). During the planning period, Mdm. Nurulhuda Nadziri who has moved to Sarawak Skills played a significant role in the project. This 27-month program has undergone two phases: Phase 1 began on 8 February 2025, and Phase 2 took place on 26 April 2025. During the second phase, a literacy innovation was created to assist children who are unable to read. It is hoped that the implementation of this program will help children achieve literacy and numeracy throughout its duration.
