The Diploma in Business Administration programme at the International College of Advanced Technology Sarawak (i-CATS) is an exciting programme that offers its graduates with the right mix of knowledge and skills to thrive in today’s global community. It prepares students for a wide range of career options in the ever–competitive business environment.


The objective of our Diploma in Business Administration programme is to provide students with a solid foundation on which to build their business careers. In a nutshell, students develop a repertoire of transferable skills during their studies. In addition to developing effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills, students will also hone critical thinking, decision-making and team building skills by working with their peers during group assignments and projects.

Career Opportunities

Graduates from this course are highly capable to work in any organization. It is also relevant for those involved in administrative careers who seek a solid foundation in business fundamentals.

Entry Requirements

  • Passed SPM/SPMV or its equivalent with credits in 3 subjects; OR
  • Passed Skill Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) Level 3 in related field AND passed SPM with a minimum of 1 credit in any subject or its equivalent; OR
  • Passed O-Level or its equivalent with Grade C in 3 subjects; OR
  • Passed UEC with Grade B in any 3 subjects; OR
  • SMU3/SMA/SMK/MA with average mark of 55 AND English Language Proficiency Requirement: IELTS with score of Band 5.0; OR
  • Any other qualification(s) recognized by the Malaysian Government.
