The program explores various themes in environmental tourism such as the different approaches in managing environmental tourism and the practical applications of principles used in the industry. Environmental tourism course embraces the principles of natural and cultural heritage. It also includes the planning, development, and operations of environmental tourism for the well-being of local and indigenous communities.


The objective of our Diploma in Environmental Tourism Management is to produce professional tourist managers who are able to serve the society in the regional tourism planning, natural resources conservation programmes, restoration of historical sites, comfort and aesthetic.

Entry Requirements

i. SPM/SPMV or its equivalent with minimum 3 credits;
ii. UEC with Grade B in 3 subjects;
iii. O-Level or its equivalent with Grade C in 3 subjects;
iv. Passed Certificate in related field with CGPA of 2.00;
v. Completed/ Passed Skill Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) Level 3 - Tourist Guide or in related field AND passed SPM with 1 credit or its equivalent;
vi. SMU3/SMA/SMK/MA with average mark of 55 AND English Language Proficiency Requirement: IELTS with score of Band 5.0;
vii. Any other equivalent qualification(s) recognized by the Malaysian Government.


The minimum time for Full-time study to complete a module shall be
2.5 years (4 months OJT).
