With the vigorous industrial growth of the country, brought by strong domestic demands and substancial inflow of foreign investments, Civil Engineering discipline undoubtedly play an important role in meeting the challenges ahead.

Course Fees

A course fee has been set for every graduate course at the college. The fees are determined by the course, not the subjects that comprise the course.

Total Fees for the course is RM17,200.00

The courses have been designed to train and equip students with sound technical knowledge and practical skills pertaining to the Civil Engineering profession. It aims to produce graduates who are independent and confident to be absorbed into the working world or to seek professional qualifications locally or overseas.

Program Educational Objectives (PEO)

PEO1 - Apply fundamental knowledge and technical skill of Civil Engineering principles of to fulfil the industry requirement
PEO2 - Communicate effectively, good teamwork, leadership skills and soft skills qualities in workplace
PEO3 - Apply their skill in engineering to plan, analyse, supervise and execute civil engineering project
PEO4 - Solve civil engineering problem innovatively, creatively and ethically under supervision
PEO5 - Pursue life-long learning to enhance their knowledge and skill to changing technology advances

Career Opportunities

Graduates of ICATS Diploma in Civil Engineering program are qualified to work as assistant engineers or technical assistants in both private and public sectors.

Entry Requirements

i. Passed SPM/ SPMV with at least 3 credits, including Mathematics and 1 Science/ Technical/ Vocational subject and pass in English;
ii. Passed STPM with at least Grade C (NGMP 2.00) in any subject and passed Mathematics, English and 1 Science/ Technical/ Vocational related subject at SPM level;
iii. Passed Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) with Grade B in 3 subjects including Mathematics and 1 Science/ Technical/ Vocational subject and pass in English;
iv. Passed GCE O-Level with Grade C in 3 subjects including Mathematics and 1 Science/ Technical/ Vocational subject and pass in English;
v. Passed SKM level 3 in related field with at least 1 credit in any subject at SPM level;
vi. Completed Certificate in Engineering/ Engineering Technology (MQF Level 3) with a minimum CGPA of 2.0 from a recognized institution;
vii. Complete related Certificate from Institut Kemahiran MARA (IKM) with a minimum CGPA of 2.00;
viii. Any other equivalent qualifications recognized by Malaysian Government.


The minimum time for Full-time study to complete a module shall be 2.5 years (4 months OJT).
